including (clockwise from top left) the base station, the three-button wireless remote, and the bracket. The bracket can itself be tripod-mounted, and the base station attaches to the flash connector on the bracket. A serial cable for connection to your camera is not included

The iRemote+ system is used in one of these two modes:

Capture mode: The iRemote+ connects directly to the camera via a serial cable (not included). By using Digita scripts, you can control certain camera functions (shutter release, zoom in and zoom out) with the included infrared controller, or with any generic RC5-compliant remote control (which allows for a much broader range of functionality). Since the iRemote+ uses the serial port of the camera and not a "custom" connection, it is compatible with all Digita-enabled cameras (Kodak, Minolta, Hewlett Packard, etc.) with appropriate script control capability.

Playback mode: You can also use the iRemote+ in "playback mode" to provide control in a "slide viewing" environment, for example connecting the camera to a television or monitor, and using iRemote+ to advance the images as desired.
