Photosolve is a small operation, and we read everything that comes in. Whether you have spotted an error, want a second opinion before you buy, or think there is a piece of gear we ought to be testing, this is the place to reach us. The contact form below goes straight to the desk that writes the field notes, not to a marketing queue.
What is worth sending
A few kinds of message are especially useful to us. Corrections come first: if a figure is wrong or a recommendation has aged badly, tell us and we will fix it and note the change. Questions about specific setups are welcome too, particularly the awkward ones about adapting old glass or fighting a screen in bright light. And if you make or sell something in the imaging space, you are free to pitch it, as long as you understand that a hands-on journal tests on its own terms and publishes what it finds.
What to expect back
We answer when we can, but we are honest that it is not instant. Detailed technical questions sometimes wait until we have actually put hands on the relevant gear rather than guessing, because a fast wrong answer helps nobody. If your message needs testing before we can respond properly, we will say so rather than leave you waiting in silence.
Before you write
A surprising number of questions are already answered in our standing guides. If your question is about displays, start with reading a camera screen, and if it is about mounts and adapters, our walkthrough on adapting lenses explained covers most of the common cases. For background on who we are and how we test, the about page lays it out, and our policies on relationships and data live on the privacy and disclosure page.
